A strategic product portfolio built through customer-driven innovation. We started with ECORE, our foundational mineral analysis system. Customer feedback revealed a need for mobility, leading to ECORE Mobile Laboratory, a self-contained lab deployable anywhere in the world. Understanding the mining workflow drove development of COBRA, the world's first on-belt LIBS analyzer for real-time ore sorting. With these products we cover the entire mining value chain from exploration, to production to remediation. ECORE FLEX addresses market segmentation, offering a compact, cost-effective solution for universities and research centers. This portfolio demonstrates strategic product management, customer-centric development, and deep understanding of market needs across the mining value chain.

COBRA LIBS Technology
2025 - OngoingOverview
Leading end-to-end development of the world's first conveyor belt real-time mineral analysis system using COBRA LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) technology, scheduled for Q1 2026 delivery. Pioneered foundational LIBS technology for rapid, non-destructive elemental analysis. Currently managing strategic partnership with a major mining company for first prototype deployment.
My Responsibilities
- •Leading end-to-end development as Engineering Lead and Product Manager for conveyor belt real-time mineral analysis system—world's first LIBS-based on-belt analysis solution, scheduled for Q1 2026 delivery
- •Responsible for complete mechanical and electrical design, instrumentation integration, and supplier management across global supply chain
- •Managing strategic partnership with major mining company for first prototype deployment, serving as focal point to ensure client expectations are met and engineering team alignment for successful delivery
- •Conducting bi-weekly meetings with major mining company client to align on requirements, progress, and deployment strategy for instrument integration
- •Brainstorming and proposing multiple prototype solutions to meet specific mining site requirements, balancing technical feasibility with operational constraints
- •Coordinating with mining company on Safety, Health, Environment compliance and mining site regulations, ensuring system meets all safety and regulatory standards

ECORE Mobile Laboratory
2023-2024Overview
Led the end-to-end development and launch of ELEMISSION Inc's flagship product, ECORE Mobile Laboratory. This innovative mobile laboratory brings advanced laser-based mineral analysis technology directly to mining sites in a self-contained shipping container, enabling real-time on-site analysis and decision-making.
My Responsibilities
- •Leading end-to-end development as Engineering Lead and Product Manager
- •Established comprehensive project management framework: developed WBS, managed $2M budget, created risk register and risk management plan, and delivered product within 18-month timeline
- •Secured $1M+ in strategic funding through Vortex program participation, coordinating with MISA and MICA investors
- •Managed stakeholder communications: weekly C-suite meetings, monthly investor presentations (MISA, MICA) with status summaries, and quarterly project advancement and financial reports with accounting team
- •Led 3 key subcontractors: container fabrication (engineering design and construction oversight), electrical control panel development, and frame structure/machined parts manufacturing
- •Designed complete system solution including mechanical architecture and electrical systems integration
- •Coordinated strategic partnerships: Aviseo Conseil (corporate structure), 48e Nord (commercialization and marketing strategy), and IT consulting firm (web interface for container operations tracking)
- •Managed cross-functional engineering team of engineers across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines

ECORE Analysis System
2022Overview
Developed and launched the ECORE Analysis System, a pioneering laser-based mineral analysis technology featuring the world's fastest LIBS core scanner at 2000Hz scanning rate. This breakthrough system combines advanced sensing technologies (3D profilometers, high-definition cameras, custom laser optics) to deliver real-time mineral characterization for global mining operations.
My Responsibilities
- •Designed and prototyped novel LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) instruments achieving 2000Hz scanning rate—world's fastest core scanner using LIBS technology, delivering 2x performance improvement over industry standards
- •Integrated advanced multi-sensor system combining 3D profilometers, high-definition cameras, and custom laser optics for real-time mineral characterization and automated analysis
- •Designed PCB architecture for instrument synchronization and developed MCU programming for system control, ensuring precise coordination of multiple sensing subsystems
- •Managed vendor relationships and procurement strategy for critical components
- •Deployed and commissioned equipment at remote mining sites across North America, Latin America, and Australia, providing on-site training, validation testing, and technical support to ensure successful customer adoption

ECORE FLEX

Supported the development and launch of ECORE FLEX, a flexible and modular version of the ECORE analysis system. This product line offers enhanced adaptability for various mining operations, universities and research centers, expanding market reach and application versatility.

- •Facilitated engineering brainstorming sessions and provided technical input to support the design team in developing modular system architecture for flexible deployment
- •Tested and assembled prototype systems, validating design concepts and identifying integration challenges early in the development cycle
- •Coordinated manufacturing processes across multiple suppliers, ensuring seamless production workflows and quality standards
- •Managed vendor relationships and procurement operations, proactively ensuring all critical parts were available to prevent engineering team blockers and maintain development velocity
- •Supported product line expansion strategy by coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
